Where I grew up, we had a busy highway. My Mom planted cactus as our boundary so we would know where to stop. They did blossom. As a punishment, sometimes we were sent to "weed" the cactus! It was a very effective punishment.

Teen Years:


This is a favorite picture of mine.  I was about 14.  Steven, Bill, Me, Joyce & Muriel




Loved reading bedtime stories to my sisters.  One year got 365 Fairy Tales and We would read one a night.
